We headed into the park early this morning, along the Madison River looking for elk and eagles and then onto the thermal area.
Caught site of a herd of bison in the distance, nicely framed with steam from the geysers but nothing close by. The park is really busy..maybe because its Sunday.
We had to battle with hordes of people round the boardwalks of the thermal features, amazing that nobody gets knocked into the boiling water and mud.
As it was so busy, we headed back into West Yellowstone in the afternoon to visit the Grizzly and Wolf discovery centre
The centre is a not for profit wildlife facility that houses animals that would otherwise have been destroyed.
Heading into wolf and bear country tomorrow so hopefully some photos of them in the wild.
